Carolina John is coming to town August 17th and will be here for a week. I would like to see a rematch of the May Challenge, which featured sidebets between John and Todd and myself, but it looks like Todd has given up poker to work for his wife in her insurance office.

UPDATE: According to an obscure text message unearthed by Egyptologists, he may be still alive and coming to town on the 18th.

It is sad to see the once known "Rebel" of poker has hung up his boots. What is this world coming too if people everywhere just started giving up poker for easier means of making money. I mean what a joke, yeah sure it is easier to get a job not put in the long hours...collect a check. It has become such a sad world. Well at least there is hope, I heard the Duke might make a comeback soon. Well see, we all knew it was only a matter of time for him. As for Splittime, i hope he is happier now.....LETTING DOWN ALL HIS FANS...

We hope the Duke makes a comeback. I don't want to have to write another obituary. It would be too much to bear:
R.I.P. Gambling Duke
1977-2007
"This was the noblest Roman of them all." --W.S.
So you should come out and play with us this month instead.
This would be what, the 115th comeback of The Duke? I shall bring a brand of poker to Las Vegas not seen in ages. You all just sit there and wait in suspense. The countdown has begun.
T minus 12 and counting....
