That's not really such a bad spot to be in, but you still don't want to be looking at pocket queens. If you could pick one card to come out, it would be the card Lancey Howard has in the hole in the final 5-card Stud scene of The Cincinnati Kid.

Ah, if only it had been Qd Td 7h, you would have had a jackpot hand.
In old-school back-room poker games, was it accepted practice to bet money not on the table, and/or were you forced to borrow or fold if someone raised you more than you had? I'm just trying to figure out whether all these old movie scenes are BS or not.
The short answer is they are all BS.
But still entertaining.
